Store Clerk
Location: Mohawk Valley Welcome Center, Fultonville, NY
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Site Assistant Manager
Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, lifting, push & pull heavy loads.
Hours of Work: PT flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends
Pay Range: The pay range is $14.
20 to $21.

Job Summary:
The Store clerk will provide excellent customer service.
The Store clerk will have product knowledge, assist with cashiering needs and other day to operations.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in day to day responsibilities of the store
Prepares, packages and fills deli items for vending
Utilizes meat slicer and cheese slicer as needed
Assists with receiving, unloading, stocking, filling & rotating merchandise
Friendly Customer Service towards all store patrons
Receives product deliveries, ensuring accuracy of order & invoice
Maintains back-stock areas according to department standards
Maintains communication with store management & team
General housekeeping
Ensures compliance with store policies.
Other related duties as assigned by manager.
Working Conditions/Equipment Used:
Use of mechanical equipment with moving parts such as a deli slicer, use of scales, working with refrigerated coolers & freezers, use of hand truck, use of company owned vehicle(s), use of general office equipment such as computer, printer, scanner, copier, fax machine & telephone, use of ladder and/or step stool, use of cash register & credit/debit/EBT card sale devices, exposure to a large variety of food products in various states including common allergens, exposure to various household and industrial strength cleaning products.
